Pickup & Meeting Details
Meeting Point: Dive Cabarete. La Puntilla, Sosúa 57000, Dominican Republic.
Location Note: Find us at the end of Beachway Road in Sosua, conveniently located directly in front of the parking lot.
Transport: While transport is not included, we are happy to arrange a taxi pickup for you upon request.
End Point: The activity concludes back at our dive center.
Itinerary
Location 1: The Dive Center (Briefing & Theory)
Your journey begins at our base, where you’ll meet your professional instructor.
- The Basics: We start with an introductory video and a comprehensive briefing covering all the essentials.
- Guided Learning: Our experienced team will guide you through the equipment and techniques in the comfort of the center, ensuring all your questions are answered before we hit the water
Location 2: Sosua Bay (Confined Open-Water Dive)
Once you’re ready, it’s time to board our beloved dive boat, Elena, captained by the legendary Captain Domingo.
- The Setting: A short, scenic cruise brings us to a "Confined Open Water" site—a shallow area of the ocean with calm, pool-like conditions.
- The Dive: Your instructor will assist you with basic skills to build your confidence. Within minutes, you’ll be submerged, surrounded by tropical fish and stunning coral formations.
- Level Up: If you find yourself hooked, speak to your instructor about upgrading to a full PADI Open Water certification at a special discounted rate!
